Simmba diaries: Ranveer Singh shoots at the ‘Hot Set’ of Hyderabad with director Rohit Shetty – watch video

Ranveer Singh and Sara Ali Khan’s Simmba has created a humongous buzz since its inception. The first look of Ranveer as kickass cop Sangram Bhalerao garnered immense love from the movie buffs. The actor is currently shooting the first schedule in Hyderabad along with his leading lady Sara Ali Khan. The 32-year old star has recently shared a video of a dhobi ghat set in Hyderabad along with director Rohit Shetty. Well, it seems, the cast and crew are having fun while shooting this commercial entertainer.

Simmba is the official remake of Jr NTR and Kajal Agarwal starrer Temper, which was a huge hit at the box office. Earlier the makers of the film dropped a funny video, where Ranveer Singh delivers a powerful dialogue, “Me star police Sangram Bhalerao, jo deto traas, tyacha me gheto class.” Well, by looking at the buzz around the film, we are sure that Simmba will be a blockbuster. Coming back to Simmba, the film will be shot in Hyderabad, Goa and Mumbai and is co-produced by Karan Johar under his banner Dharma Productions. It is set to hit the screens on December 28. On the professional front, Ranveer has already wrapped up the shooting of Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy which is set to hit the screens on February 14, 2019, during Valentine’s day weekend. The film also stars Alia Bhatt in a lead role and is produced under the banner of Excel Entertainment. Post Simmba, Ranveer will start shooting for Kabir Khan’s ’83, where he will portray the character of legendary cricketer Kapil Dev. It is scheduled to release on August 30, 2019
